DUNE HOUSE

Perched on a protected dune overlooking the outer Cape, Dune House is a compact, weather-hardened residence organized around a single south-facing living volume. Cedar shingles are left to silver naturally, black-framed windows frame the water, and a low guest wing shelters the entry court from prevailing wind. Inside, white oak floors, plaster walls, and an open stair keep the plan light and legible while a continuous band of glazing pulls the horizon through the house.
