Built into a rocky slope above the valley floor, Ridgeline House pairs local stone masonry with deep timber soffits and a cantilevered glass living room that reaches out over the grade. The public rooms occupy the upper level to capture the long view; bedrooms and a ski room tuck below into the hillside. Radiant concrete floors, a board-formed fireplace mass, and full-height glazing balance the rigor of the structure with the warmth the climate demands.
